Who is responsible

The data controller is Adsfair BV, Albert Plesmanplein 20, 2805 AB Gouda, The Netherlands (KVK 60126035, VAT NL853775485B01), trading as ReReviews.

The short version

You can use ReReviews without an account. We store a visitor id in your browser so a session can be counted once. Queries, Amazon taps and optional email are logged so we can see which recommendations convert. We do not sell your name. Advertising networks only hear from us if you allow marketing cookies and then search or tap Amazon.

What we process

• Queries you type. Sent to Anthropic (Claude) to produce a recommendation. Anthropic processes that text under its own terms. Do not paste secrets or health records.
• Event log. Page view, query, recommendation, Amazon tap, email capture, language, coarse viewport, referrer, UTM and ad ids in the URL. Stored in Supabase (EU/US region you configure) when analytics consent is on.
• Email, only if you opt in with a checkbox. Used for one follow-up about the product you tapped. CAN-SPAM and GDPR both apply: unsubscribe in every mail, postal address in the footer of the mail.
• Advertising attribution. If you arrived from PropellerAds, a visitor id and campaign ids from the URL may be sent back to PropellerAds on first query and on Amazon click — only with marketing consent.
• Amazon. When you tap a green link, Amazon receives its affiliate parameters (tag rereviews-20, subtag). Amazon’s privacy policy applies from that point.
• Technical logs. Our host (Vercel) records IP, user agent and timestamp for security, retained for a limited period.

Legal bases (GDPR / AVG)

Necessary storage: legitimate interest in running the site. Analytics and marketing: consent. Email: consent. Contract/legal obligation where we must keep a record of a request you send us.

US laws

California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including to know, delete, and opt out of sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information for money. Sharing for ads is off unless you accept marketing cookies. Opt out at any time on the Do not sell or share page. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics. We do not target children under 16. Nevada residents may opt out of a “sale” the same way. Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas and similar US state laws: use the same controls and email privacy@rereview.app.

Retention

Event logs: 90 days in the working database, then aggregated or deleted. Emails: until you unsubscribe or 18 months of inactivity. Support mail: up to 24 months.

Your rights

Access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. EU/UK: you may complain to your local authority (in NL: Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). US: submit a request to privacy@rereview.app; we will verify reasonably and will not discriminate for exercising rights. Authorized agents: email from the address on file plus a signed authorization.

Children

ReReviews is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (COPPA) or under 16 in California.
